I began my journey in the Health and Disability sector with a Bachelor of Midwifery. I enjoyed the satisfaction of supporting women and their whanau but I wanted to maintain a better work/life balance.  I became a Health and Disability Advocate supporting consumers before joining Livingwell in 2018 to launch the Mobile Service. I thoroughly enjoy providing solutions for people to maintain their independence and live their best life.

Information and Equipment Specialist

I joined Livingwell Disability Resource Centre in 2017.

I enjoy assisting individuals in navigating the complex health and disability system and providing them with the information they need.  

My area of expertise is maintaining a strong knowledge base by staying up to date on the latest developments in the health and disability sector.

Access Consultant and Educator

I originally worked at Livingwell (when is was known as Disability Information Service) for 10 years, leaving 2015, and returned in 2018 to take up the role of Access Consultant and Educator. I am passionate about ensuring the built environment is accessible for people for all abilities and passing on skills I have learned from negotiating the world from a wheelchair since 1967.

Retail Specialist

I joined the Livingwell team in 2022.

My specialty area is the front-of-house connection with customers, helping them find what they need, and offering helpful and personalised advice. I love meeting people & being a part of their journey in some small way. Service is a privilege.

Service Administrator

I have been at Livingwell since July 2023. I was employed to complete the Health and Disability Service Directory, however, I have also been providing customer service. I really enjoy assisting people to retain their independence by finding the right product for them.

Retail Assistant

I have been at Livingwell for two years following a career as an Occupational Therapist.

I enjoy assisting customers to find solutions for difficulties they are having in their everyday lives.
